VLAN secara logis membagi satu jaringan fisik menjadi beberapa broadcast domain yang lebih kecil. Switch mengasumsikan semua lalu lintas yang masuk dan keluar dari port access adalah milik VLAN yang ditetapkan untuk port tersebut.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\n<strong>Diterima dan Dikirim oleh Perangkat Endpoint:<\/strong> Perangkat endpoint mengirim dan menerima lalu lintas untagged.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\n<strong>Sederhana untuk Perangkat Akhir:<\/strong> Tidak memerlukan konfigurasi VLAN pada perangkat endpoint.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Kaitan dengan VLAN Access:<\/strong> Port VLAN Access dikonfigurasi dengan satu <strong>access VLAN<\/strong>. Semua lalu lintas untagged yang masuk ke port ini akan secara otomatis diasosiasikan dengan access VLAN tersebut. Konsep native VLAN digunakan untuk memastikan kompatibilitas dengan perangkat yang mungkin tidak mendukung VLAN tagging.
